Default Good Times vs Gilligan's Island!!

When you think about it these two shows had the same premise although Good Times did a lot of shows with current social problems.

Gilligan's Island was stuck on an Island
Good Times was stuck in the Ghetto!!

Gilligan was dumb, scrawny and skinny and wore a stupid hat.
J.J. wad dumb, scrawny and skinny and wore and even stupider version of a similar style hat.

They rich and powerful on both shows were typecast to seem socially ********.

Guests would drop in from time to time and scam both of them in some way.

A unruly street gang was as dangerous as the threat of headhunters.

A ton of the Episodes of Gilligan's Island they almost get off the Island.
A ton of the Episodes of Good Times they almost get out of the ghetto.

That was the first thing the critics commented on when Good Times premiered; they said it was an obvious remake of Gilligan's Island.

Good Times was nothing like the show Gilligan's Island..Gimme a Break; first Gilligan's Island is one of the lamest shows ever; it is stupid, and has lousy characters; and the only lame-ass character on Good Times was JJ; Good Times had depth, it was better written.
Gilligan's Island is complete crap, utter puff, more like watching a cartoon geared for children...

The only real thing these shows have in common is the the hats that J.J and Gilligan wore
