Default What happened to Lana?

TV LAND is showing the episodes with Lana (Anne Wedgeworth). Its obvious that the character did not have a lot of depth (all she did was to chase Jack and insult Furley). Was it ever explained what happened to her? Did she fell off the ship when Furley went on the cruise instead of Jack?

There was never a real explanation on why Lana never came back to the Apt but you can use this explanation. In the episode-"Black Letter Day", Lana was so mad at Jack because she thought he was fooling around with Janet and Chrissy and decided not to speak to him again.. So that can be the reason she never returned to the APT because if she was no longer spaking to JAck what reason would she have to still come back to APT 201? She wasn't friends with Janet and Chrissy so thats why Lana never came back.

Lana was supposed to replace Mrs. Roper as the horny older woman on the show, but she never really fit in.

She knew that she was never going to scorewith jack, so I am assuming that she decided to go on with her life, and find another man, that was closer to her age, and that would appreicate her..

That's what I've always thought, too, or that at the very least she continued living in the apartment building without being seen on-screen.

I think it's a shame how they wasted Ann Wedgeworth, who I thought was a good actress. They didn't really give Lana any depth at all, other than making her go gaga for Jack.

She was much better used on Evening Shade.
