It occurred to me recently when Lifetime went back to showing two UM's a day that maybe with the Unsolved Mysteries on DVD that will be released soon, Lifetime will think there will be renewed interested in UM (although us on the board never lost interest in the first place) and keep showing episodes and maybe even more often. We all know Lifetime has no problem showing 5 or 6 episodes of the same show every day (i.e. Golden Girls, Nanny, etc.) why not show Unsolved Mysteries multiple times too!
What are your thoughts? |

Yes I too think they should show more eps of UM. Especially the still unsolved ones.

I think that Lifetime should show more episodes a day too. Especially the older cases from the late 80's to the early 90's. But I don't think that Lifetime will ever show more than two or even three episodes on weekdays.
I wish that they would show a lot of episodes on weekdays too!

What I find interesting is that Lifetime actually started a secondary channel a couple years ago (besides Lifetime movie network). I quite vividly remember that during the launch of this channel there were episodes of UM shown, like, every three hours or so. Then, they mysteriously vanished. Then the channel started showing crap. What a waste... I could definetlely live with 4-5 hours of unsolved a day. I surely wouldn't get out much. I need a DVR!!!!
What would be ideal would be for Lifetime (or another network, for that matter) to syndicate the old episodes in their original form on their secondary channel. Luckily I have 5 tapes full of episodes taped before Lifetime screwed them up. (taped between 1993-94). The quality is pretty bad, but I'm getting used to it. Anyone else lucky enough to be flipping channels that day? (this was in 2002, I think) |
