These are greate country female singers of all times (by me)The new country singers are good, but they do have a long way a coming to the top fivr female country super stardom.

Here is my top 20 old and new country female singers(off top of my head)

20.Olivia newton-John she was the first singer to trun in country at first then pop.

19Pam Tillis her singing is just awsome, she has done some acting on the side and she is the daughter of Mel Tillis

18Lorrir Morgan The Lady In Red,thatwas her signature song, her outfit the red dress wowww. She's in a class by her self.

17tanya Tucker Her rough hill billys ways have erned her the country star dom and a star on the hollywood sidewalk, she started when she was just 15 with Delta The Dawn, she sounde like 39mshe became a huge star in her own rights.many albums 4 kids, her house burned downed ,got divorced had some problrms with coke, and booxe, but she is in better shape then ever.

16Terri Carl
Her is more rough neck, songs li k ke:I'm Allright' AND 'Now That I Founde You' MADE her into an international star.

15Trisha Yearwood, She';s In Love With You Boy,Fame, she's one red hot chick. She has won several CMA awards and shd didsome acting, she is going with Grath Brooks,

The Pointer Sisters. Even though there Jazz and pop they did country also 'Shoud I Do It" was number one hit on the country charts a very nice dancing tune.
13Dixie Chicks

11.Kitty Wells

1Tammy Wynett,
Her life was like a country song, Her signature song Stand By Your Man gave her the number one song for months. I know Fairytale was a #1 country single, but I thought Should I Do It was more of a 50's sounding song, I have that song on their Fire cd, so I'll dig it out, my fave Pointer era is the Break Out/Contact albums when they were more r&b/dance

I'm way more into country/pop than true country, but I LOVE Patsy Cline's voice. She's awesome. Here's my list, even though I only have 7.

7. Olivia Newton-John - I think she has one of the prettiest voices I've ever heard. One of the first crossovers. She paved the way for a lot of my favorites today.

6. Patsy Cline - Just a classic artist. Great songs; great voice.

5. LeAnn Rimes - She's pure talent. If you need proof, just listen to Blue...which she sang at age 13, BTW.

4. Sara Evans - She's not too country, but she's one of the closest too "real" country today. I love Born to Fly, too.

3. Shania Twain - Shania is one of the biggest selling solo artists in US history, and I can see why! Catchy music, and a very unique style.

2. Martina McBride - One word: POWERHOUSE.

1. Faith Hill - Faith is just my favorite. She's all-around awesome, and she has a fabulous voice.
