Default GSN needs to create a new channel for past game shows only

When Game Show Network first came on several years ago with Tic Tac Dough,Joker's Wild,Match Game and past game shows,I was very excited. Now they are just adding new shows and getting rid of recently the old shows such as 100,000 Pyramid,Win Lose or Draw. My solution is this. Create a new game show channel called GSN Classic and feature all the old past game shows only. You can bring back the shows that I have mentioned plus other shows such as Sale of the Century,Card Sharks,Hot Potato,Scrabble. Make GSN feature the modern game shows and GSN classic feature all the old game shows of the past. I would love to see a channel like that. That way you have GSN for the younger viewers and GSN Classic for the older viewers.

I agree they should seperate the game shows across different generations. I actually saw a great game show recently, called Funny Money, I think its done by National Lampoon who we all know have a great history of comedy, so they cant go wrong with game shows. if anyone wants to check it out i saw it on the game show network, and i think they play it on national lampoon network as well.

I think that will be a great idea for putting a new dream channel called GSN classic featuring older game shows like "The Price Is Right Classic", "Tic-Tac-Dough", "The Joker's Wild", "Bullseye", "The $100,000 Name That Tune", "The Gong Show", "Body Language" and three shows of the "Password" trilogy, "Password", "Password Plus+" and "Super Password". I still missed the older game shows since the old GSN was a 24-hour channel for old game shows. And don't forget to add the original "Hollywood Squares" with Peter Marshall to the lineup.

There's no way a GSN Classics-type channel will emerge anytime soon. GSN was an all-classics channel for many years and it struggled big time. Why would they just start a whole new spin-off network that had the same concept the original network started out with but didn't work? It doesn't make any sense. Believe me I love the classics and hate the garbage GSN is airing now, but we gotta be realistic here. The stuff GSN is airs today is what people like and it's what brings in the ratings and there's nothing we can do about it. If the original GSN would have done better as an all-classics network I'm sure they would have just left it alone.
