I got bored and I read a post about calling paramount. Then I talked to my dad and he called them, cause my phone is screwed up. Anyway, he put me on, and they said they were thinking about it, right? Well, they told me to hold on, and then they told me it has a very high chance of getting there because they had been recieving so many calls about it.
They also said it was already in their planning, they just have to put the idea together and fit it for season sets. Plus, it being sort of a spin-off to cheers, (kinda) it was bound to be on dvd eventually. I mean M*A*S*H* came on DVD, and if ppl are willing to buy that, surely ppl would buy wings. ![]() EDIT: Maybe they are discussing their television shows in ABC order. I mean, wings would be their last comedy in abc order. So just think of that as a possibility of the DVD release being so late. |

Thanks that's great news. I have a feeling that eventually every tv show ever made will be out on DVD.
I doubt they are going in alphabetical order, most companies go by the demand for the product. If they were going in order, they would be close to Wings, cause almost all the Star Trek series are out on DVD Now almost all my favorite shows are out on DVD, all I can say Warner Bros, get your butts in gear and release Lois and Clark on DVD

The dvd sets are set in stone yet, but they said its in great demand. They say people wanted it more than Who's the Boss, and who's the boss was already released, although I think it was by another company.

I don't know they both have pretty big fanbases, and WTB fans started a petition to get the show released and it worked eventually ![]() I've gotta feeling Wings will probably come out next year. |

If they can release shows like My Big Fat Greek Life and The Tick, I think they can release Wings.
Personally, I can't believe it wasn't out already. |

Well if TV shows on DVD was popular back when wings was out, it would've been one of the first ones they released on DVD. After wings went over tons of ppl forgot about it because they didn't show reruns on nbc after it ended. Most people just figured it was gone for good, and assumed that others didn't like it. Although it went to usa network..
Now its on in the middle on the night so it's even harder for ppl to find out its still out... Once an old fan see's wings, they'll recognize it, and become a fan once again. If they liked it even after it ended, the chances are, you're stilll going to like it if you see it again.. Well everyone I know (EVERYONE!) likes wings. lol. So there will be a lot of calls to paramount thanks to me telling others. Muahahaha.. |

this kinda gives me hope. i almost given up on the DVDs. i have been keeping my fingers crossed ever since i've rediscovered this show. i checked paramount's website and saw what they're releasing on dvd. i saw that they already released DVDs for Reno 911. hello! earth to paramount. wings is way much better than that show!
i wish they'd finish planning and already start production and that the DVDs would include bloopers and outtakes.

Well.. They have to add all that stuff into dvds so it would take a while...
And for all those new shows out on DVD already like reno 911. They start making dvds of them right when they come out. Paramount is in a deep trend of only doing a few classic tv shows at a time.. I've called tons of times and they still say wings is underway. lol |
