Rose Marie has such an awesome jazz voice. Did she ever cut any records, either solo or with a band?

I'm sure she must have. If you check a search engine you'll probably find something. I remember seeing not long ago, on either AMC or TCM (American Movie Classics, Turner Classic Movies), a film clip of her singing when she was maybe 10/11 yrs. old, maybe younger. She had dark hair & was really "belting" it out. I think she had her own radio show when she was a child.

I have an album of hers entitled: "Songs for the Single Girl". She talks and sings some songs about dating and such, but she does so in the character of Sally Rogers.
I found this after putting it out as a "favorite search" on eBay... took about 10 months or so. If anyone knows of any other albums she did, I'd like to find them as well. She had a fantastic voice, nobody could do a "torch song" the way she could. |

I remember once; seeing her act and sing in some musical from the 50s.

I believe on the 80th anniversary DVD of The Jazz Singer there is a restored Vitaphone short subject of "Baby Rose Marie" on there.* That may be the same short mentioned above in another post in this thread, but somewhere just recent I saw her talking about this and I'm pretty sure it was here.*

Hey Benno- Who is that on your avatar? I'm assuming it's not you, since your profile says you're male...
