Need a suggestion on what cd's from Weird to buy. I just got the DVD with the 24 videos and I love it. I'm trying to back up a little bit on his career and get familiarized with the 'past'

Why not start from the beginning? His first album, from 1983, is self-titled. Go forward from there. There's lots of great stuff on all his albums (avoid all the compilations, though, as they're a waste of money; especially The Food Album and The TV Album).
His official discography can be found here. |

Why don't you buy his 4 CD box set? I have it, it's great. It's called Permanent Record - Al In The Box.
