Yeah too bad they won't be on DVD. It's okay though , I've seen both a couple of times.

Yeah TAC defintely has a better chance of being released than TR because of Ritter but still a slim chance. I remember when i first saw the episode "Moving On" around the age of 11 and i was so confused. I kept saying to myself, "where the hell is Jack, Janet, and Chrissy"?-LOL |

Maybe those 2 episodes will be used as extras on the DVDs.

Here we go again. I swear, TV Show analyzer, that you love to repeat yourself.
If ALL 8 seasons of Three's Company sell extremely well, of course they'll release Three's a Crowd & The Ropers due to the Three's Company tie-in. There were appearances made by Larry, Janet, Jack & Chrissy on The Ropers and Three's a Crowd has Jack. If you owned these series and they were selling like hotcakes, once you ran out of the main attraction Three's Company sell , you'd then sell any loose ends. The spin-offs wouldn't sell as much as the main series, but they'd definitely do decently, especially since they haven't been on the air for so long. Fans of Three's Company would buy them out of curiousity and loyalty. Not all fans, but enough would, that's for sure. And since each show lasted a season only (The Ropers were a season and a 1/2 so they'd be released in a double set I imagine), what huge investment is there from the fans to buy them? Even if they hated the series, it's not like there's more shows to turn down. It's a no brainer if you ask me. It's not a definite, but you talk as if it's an impossibility, and it's not. There are lots of shows getting DVD releases that weren't popular at all and some only lasted 1/2 a season. These spin-offs have a lot more in their favor than the other stuff that sees release. In fact, I think that if sales hold up well, we could even see the British version of Three's Company someday. Maybe some of you wouldn't be interested in this, but it is a possibility nonetheless. We get Coupling in the USA and that's the British version. In fact, the USA version of the show bombed and yet we still get NTSC releases of the British version, so anything is possible. Ed |

Ok, ok, my bad. In any case, I hope you're wrong. I don't expect the spin-offs to be favorites of mine, but I'd love to own them nonetheless. I don't remember The Ropers as a series at all (except for the ones shown in syndication) so I'd check that out. I expect to like it or to be bored, but I still would buy it.
I saw the theme song to The Ropers on the internet and the song and visuals are a hoot, so I'd buy a set just for that! Lame, I know, but I love Three's Company... Ed |

But the fact that the Ropers are connected to TC, it may sell if there was a released. |

If Three's Company 8 seasons sell well, I'd say count on the spin-offs. They'd be stupid to not to attempt it in my opinion. Perhaps Chris Mann could be brought in to try to help campaign for their release? He'd support it, for sure... Anyone have any ideas on how to contact him? Ed |
