Thumbs up Fireworks on TV tonight

Capitol Fourth from Washington D.C. is on til 9:30pm ET on PBS and then repeats(sun is just now setting there, fireworks haven't started).

Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular from New York City 9-10pm ET on NBC

Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular from Boston 10-11pm ET on CBS

Plus countless local broadcasts.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the input! I'm not seeing any real fireworks tonight so maybe I'll watch some on TV, although the ones on TV are NEVER the same as seeing them live!

The ones in New York are SPECTACULAR. I didn't catch DC's(was out shooting some off here), but I imagine they were great too.

I'll be going to a local fireworks show being held in a church parking lot. But, since there is a shopping area with a large parking lot across the street and there is a crowd of people and cars, I'll get over there on my mountain bike (equipped with head and taillights).

The Boston Pops show is national? I didn't know that. Great show so far. David Lee Roth still has it.

I have my Tivo recording it. I just got back from Legion Field in Bridgewater and they were AWESOME! I swear they get better and better every year.

Would that be because of Clay Aiken?

I saw live fireworks too, and then I came home, I saw it on TV.

I MISSED IT. I'm so mad.

I was at Springfield's fireworks.. although those were awesome. I knew the cops on duty and they let me on the bridge.. I was like 100 feet away from where they were shooting them off and got burnt. Then I went to my grandmother's house and shot some off there and got burnt again. Yeah.. action packed night.

Fireworks: What better way to celebrate the independence of your nation than by blowing up a small part of it...

Fireworks don't blow anything up. I think they're beautiful to look at. Done the right way, it's an art form and the perfect way to celebrate our country's birthday.
