Who is your favorite character and why?

It varied with how old I was.When I was 8 and first watching the show,I liked Richie because he was close to my age-and had the same name.When I was seeing more reruns at age 11 I liked Buddy because he could always come up with a funny one-liner.When I was seeing reruns at age 16,18 and 19 I liked Laura because she was charming and beautiful.

My favorite characters are Rob, Laura, Richie, Sally and Buddy.

Definitely, hands down, Laura!! If you read some of my other posts on this board, you'll know I'm a MAJOR Mary Tyler Moore fan, so I may be partial when it comes to this question. LOL.
