I know that No More Tears (Enough Is Enough) by Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer was the #1 single the week I was born, I think Styx's Babe was in the top 5 also

I think the number one song the day I was born (8/5/76) was "Disco Duck" by Rick Dees. I do know that Led Zeppelin's Presence was the number one album. Not one of Zeppelin's better albums (though it is still good) but it is sure better than "Disco Duck".

Yeah 1974 was a good year for music, with the exception of a few songs *coughcoughSeasonsintheSuncoughcough* |

The #1 song in Billboard that I was born was "Boogie, Oogie, Oogie" by A Taste of Honey. But according to Musicradio 77 WABC survey, the Top 5 songs in NYC since I was born (according to Allan Sniffen's website musicradio77.com) are:
1. "Grease" - Frankie Valli 2. "Boogie, Oogie, Oogie" - A Taste of Honey 3. "Three Times a Lady" - The Commodores 4. "Miss You" - The Rolling Stones 5. "Last Dance" - Donna Summer |

I know that the number one song in the U.S. the day I was born was "It's Still Rock And Roll To Me" by Billy Joel (very cool). In the UK, it was "Xanadu" by Olivia Newton-John (not so cool).
