Talking This looks better than Friends

I have just seen the previews over on the NBC website and it looks a hell of a lot funnier than Friends.

I cant wait to see 'Joey'.

As much as I love the Joey character and Matt LeBlanc, yes Joey will be funny, but IMO not funnier than Friends

It will be a very funny show and it's great that Matt has his own sitcom but,I think it's too soon to compare it with Friends yet.

I saw the Pilot of Joey and it's very funny. A few 'off the track' jokes but overall I thought it was funny and it made me laugh when right now I'm not all that much in a laughing frame of mind. I can't wait to see successive episodes.

On my left, I saw days upon days of lipstick and ticking clocks, dirty looks and quiet whisperings. And burning secrets that just won't ever die away. And on my right, what could I picture? The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

Joey's funny but it just isn't comparable to friends.

I still prefer "Friends," just as I prefer "Cheers" over "Frasier." But that's probably due to growing up watching "Friends" and the fact that "Joey" hasn't aired long enough to make a final judgment.

Oooh..Cheers fan?? Come by the board.

And, yeah, I agree that Friends is better than Joey. At least so far.

Big "Cheers" fan. I grew up with that show in the sense that I was always in the room when my parents would watch it, even though I wouldn't know what was going on.

Then you should definitely stop by the Seinfeld board.

It's eerie the similarities between these two shows(Frasier and Joey)
