shows, i always think about the child abuse episode of Good Times. I saw her on What's happening and said-"that the woman who was abusing her child on Good times", same thing when i saw her on Facts of Life and Living Single. I also never realized that she was one of J.J's dates in season 4.

That's probably her most notable on role, but I'll always think of her as Kim Field's mother. She's appeared on all of Kim's shows & she played Kim's mother on "Living Single". Her other daughter, Alexis, was on "Roc" & "Sister, Sister."

She played a murdered whore in some movie out in the early eighties. I guess she was typcast in your mind!! She played the part well then.

That actress Chip Fields is also the mother of Kim Fields from Facts of Life. Which is why you saw Kim on Good Times in that episode about Florida needing a physical. As a matter of fact Chip, Kim and Janet Jackson remain close to this day, per Kim Fields. What a wonderful fact that a mother and daughter made such a great career being actresses.

Chip Fields was also in the 70's live action Amazing Spider-Man series.

I thought the Penny episodes were kind of creepy.
I hated her mother.( Not Chip fields the actress.) I wonder what Kim thought of her real life mom playing such an evil lady.
