Default Which Spider-Man Villain Would You Like to See in the Third Film?

Spider-Man = Norman Osbourne/The Green Goblin
Spider-Man 2 = Dr. Otto Octavious/Doctor Octopus

Just to name some villains:
Eddie Brock / Venom
Mysterio
The Chameleon
Rhino
The Shocker
The Scorpian
Dr. Curt Connors / The Lizard
The Kingpin
The Sandman
Kraven the Hunter
The Hobgoblin
Green Goblin II (Harry Osbourne)
The Vulture

I know there's more, but I can't think of any.

I personally would enjoy Venom being the next villain.

Yes.

I think Dr. Conners/The Lizard would be cool (the CG effects wouls have to be really awsome though) and I always liked Mysterio, but I also think Venom would be the best choice.

I forgot to list Electro. I may be one of the few who like his old 1960's outfit but I don't think it'd look good in a live action movie. I really didn't care for his look in the 2003 animated series, either.

When I was a kid and wanted them to make a Spider-Man movie, I always wanted Doc Ock in the first film. I was upset when I heard it was gonna be the Green Goblin. Now, after watching the first one, I'm a Green Goblin fan. I'm still excited to see Dr. Octopus in the sequel, though.

BuffySlayer79- I'm with you, I didn't particularly like the first film either.

Out of all those villains I've heard of- it would be good to see Venom in the third one- it would be a much darker film.

I thought that Spiderman 2 really setup the villians in the sequel such as Hobgoblin ( or green goblin 2) & Lizard but I think seeing Venom would be very dark and awesome.

I adore the Green Goblin. Amazing villain. So I'd go with him, considering I don't know who any of the other people are... and I saw the movie too

Don't forget that they introduces John Jameson(?), who is the son of newspaper guy, and he turns into the Man-Wolf in the comics. Maybe not as the main badguy but as a secondary one.

And I hope that Harry Osborn turns into the HobGoblin instead of the Green one.

Yeah but remember what Norman said at the end of the second one? Something about "fulfilling my destiny"? Oh well, I don't necessarily think it's going to be Harry; I think the third movie will definitely have something going on between him and Parker, seeing as he knows now.. but I REALLY hope he doesn't become the Goblin.

As for Doc Oc in this one, I loved him. He was an awesome villian. The third one? I'd like to see The Chameleon, definitely.

well, a couple of friends who didn't care too much for the first are telling me how this one is so much better. Which can make sense, because the main thing I disliked about pt. 1 was Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin. He was supposed to be menacing yet 2 year olds wouldn't be scared, and he was neither interesting or complex like most supervillians are. I also hated the lack of characterization given everyone who isn't Peter/Spiderman... we didn't get much of a glimpse of WHY he loved MJ so much... and even better yet, absolutely no explanation was given to why Harry went from teenage slacker to yuppie almost overnight after graduation.

Perhaps this one is better, but I think I'll wait for tv to decide for myself

I just found my Spider-Man book. It has a list of some of the villains Spidey has fought.

The Chameleon / Dmitri Smerdyakov
The Vulture / Adrian Toomes
Doctor Octopus / Dr. Otto Octavious
The Sandman / William Baker
The Lizard / Dr. Curt Connors
Electro / Maxwell Dillon
Mysterio / Quentin Beck
The Green Goblin / Norman Osborn
The Green Goblin 2 / Harry Osborn
The Green Goblin 3 / Bart Hamilton
The Green Goblin 4 / Phil Urich
Kraven the Hunter / Sergei Kravenov
The Scorpion / MacDonald "Mac" Gargan
The Rhino / Real name, unknown
The Molten Man / Mark Raxton
Man-Wolf / John Jameson
The Kingpin / Wilson Fisk
Morbius / Michael Morbius
Hammerhead / Real name, unknown
Silvermane / Silvio Manfredi
The Jackel / Professor Miles Warren
The Black Cat / Felicia Hardy
The Hobgoblin / Roderick Kingsley
The Hobgoblin 2 / Ned Leeds
The Hobgoblin 3 / Jason Macendale
The Juggernaut / Cain Marko
Hydro-Man / Morris Bench
Tombstone / Lonnie Thompson Lincoln
Venom / Eddie Brock
Carnage / Cletus Kasady
The Shocker / I don't know his real name

I think it's gonna be The Green Goblin II. I think Lizard is cool, but don't think he could carry the whole movie. My thought is that he turns into the Lizard for just one scene. Spider-Man will fight him, cure him and move on to the main villain.

When I was young and planned out my own Spider-Man movies, this was when the Batman movies came out, I pictured:

Spider-Man, part 1: Dr. Octopus
Spider-Man, part 2: Electro, Sandman
Spider-Man, part 3: Kingpin

My thoughts on whats going to happen in Spidey 3?

Harry turns into the Green Goblin (although I think it would be better if he became the HobGoblin because we've already since the Green Goblin, who wants to see him again?) Anyway Harry becomes Gobby 2 & goes insane like his father. Hopefully better fight scene & alot of emotional problems between Harry/Peter. Dr. Conners turns into the Lizard and goes through a rampage. I would like to see a fight scene in the snow or blizzard. I think it would be very neat. In Conner's class (before he turns himself into the Lizard) Peter should met Gwen Stacy and start to like her as well as him in love with Mary Jane. Something along those lines.

Although there are two things I fear for the 3rd sequel 1) Green Goblin just being rehashed and boring. I understand the relationship level with Harry & Peter but we've since the villian. I don't think he could carry his own movie again. Especially after a movie with Doc Ock you would almost have to top it. 2) I think that Mary Jane & Peter have pretty much hit their emotional level with each other. The only exciting thing that could happen between them is if they got married. I would like to see Gwen Stacy released into the movie but I fear people not believing that the relationship would work between them after he went through with Mary Jane. Bringing in a new love interest is risky for the character development. You would almost have to kill Mary Jane off in the 3rd one for the movie to top the emotional level of the 2nd movie.

I would love to see Venom in the future as a character. There is so much you could do with Spiderman but I would only want to see them done right with with Tobey. I would also hate to see a poor directer come in and ruin everything (i.e Batman)
