"Friends: The Next Generation" has the same apartments but new friends!

Joey is in California. Monica and Chandler are out of the city, Phoebe and Mike are still living in their apartment and Ross, Rachel and Emma are still living in their apartment but what's up with the other 2 apartments? Well, Mena Best (Kristen Bell) moved into Monica and Chandler's apartment in May and is looking for a roommate. Eamon Kent (Joseph Lawrence) and his brother Arbus (Shane West) have also just moved to New York in May and instantly befriend the Monica-ish Mena. The Joey-like Eamon moves into Chandler and Joey's apartment because the person who lives there is named Sophie (Seth Rogen), a guy with 2 mommies who Eamon thinks is a girl. Sophie is Chandler-esque. Arbus, however moves into a new apartment (right next to Ross and Rachel!) with his roommate being the Phoebe-esque Merceses Dane (Ashley Johnson). Arbus just recently got out of a relationship with Karen Kipper but is still in love with childhood friend Alyssa Kescott (Alison Lohman), who used to date Eamon. Alyssa walks into Central Perk 1 day expecting to meet some of her friends there. When they don't show up, Alyssa starts talking with Arbus and the gang and eventually decides to get a job at Central Perk and become Mena's roommate. Arbus is finally glad to have Alyssa back in his life again bt can he keep her there? "Friends: The Next Generation" will feature regular guest appearences from James Michael Tyler as Gunther and a few guest appearences from Jennifer Aniston and David Scwimmer as Ross and Rachel (who probably won't show up until the 2nd season, in which Alyssa will become Emma's nanny). As for jobs, Eamon is a car mechanic, Arbus is a documentary filmmaker, Sophie operates a newsstand, Mercedes is an actress and Mena is a romance novelist.

"Friends: The Next Generation" Episode Guide

Season 1

1.TOW All The New Friends
Alyssa comes to town to meet some friends and, when they don't show up, she gets a job at Central Perk and becomes Mena's new roommate while the friends enjoy some cookies and lasagna left by Monica.

2.TOW The Inappropriate Girl Scout
A girl scout goes out of her way to get Sophie to buy cookies while the friends get ready to watch Mercedes' commercial debut.

3.TO Without Sophie
The friends are all wrapped up in the own business except for Sophie who seems to have dissappeared.

4.TOW Arbus Makes a Movie
Arbus films his friends doing their normal daily routines for his new documentary.

5.TOW Arbus Professes his Love
Arbus finally plans to tell Alyssa his feelings but things go awry when she announces that she has a date for that evening and Eamon and Sophie force him to tell her before it's too late while Mercedes tries to help Mena to get Treeger to lower her rent.

6.TOW The Awkward Thanksgiving
Mena plans to have Thanksgiving at her and Alyssa's place but then realizes that she can't cook while Arbus finds it awkward being around Alyssa, who brings a date to Thanksgiving.

7.TOW Karen Comes Back
Arbus' ex-girlfriend Karen comes back into his life and makes Alyssa jealous while Sophie and Eamon buy a pool table for their apartment.

8.TOW Arbus and Alyssa Kiss
Alyssa reminds Arbus that they had kissed before.... back when they were 6 and tells the story of their meeting and other stories of their youth to the other friends.

9.TOW Arbus Submits his Movie to a Major Festival
The newly-coupled Arbus and Alyssa celebrate his film getting into Sundance while Eamon offers to fix Mercedes' car.

10.TOW The Fire at the Newsstand
A careless Eamon causes Sophie's pride and joy, the newsstand where he works, to burn down while Arbus and Alyssa have their 1st little fight.

11.TOW Sophie the Romantic
An out-of-work Sophie helps Mena with her latest novel and she is surprised to discover how romantic he is while Arbus forgets a very importmant (to Alyssa anyway) anniversary.

12.TOW The Morning After
Mena awakens to discover that she slept with Sophie while Arbus tries to make up for forgetting the anniversary by asking Gunther to give Alyssa a raise.

13.TOW A Couple of Couples
Mena and Sophie try to keep their romance secret, to not overshadow the newly-engaged Arbus and Alyssa, while Eamon's new girlfriend has a secret.... she has a penis!

14.TOW The Typo
Arbus and Alyssa decide to make their engagement official and make an announcement in the newspaper but a typo, made by Sophie, ruins things for both them and Mena and Sophie.

15.TOW A Couple of Non-Couples
Mena and Sophie decide to put their past behind them and just be friends while Mercedes and Eamon arrange a party to get Arbus and Alyssa back together.

16.TOW Another Flashback
The newly-single Arbus and Alyssa each, once again, flash back to their youth.

17.TOW Everybody is Just Friends
Arbus and Alyssa decide to just be friends like Sophie and Mena and decide to set each other up on blind dates while Mercedes and Eamon kiss.

18.TOW The Phoney Latino
The friends are convinced that a pizza delivery man is putting on a fake Spanish accent.

19.TOW The Virgin Alyssa
During a storm, the friends play games and have fun at Mena and Alyssa's place and everything is going fine until Alyssa announces that she is still a virgin.

The friends try to cheer Alyssa up when her beloved French Poodle Misty passes away.

21.TOW Alyssa's Birthday Party
The friends are holding a birthday party for Alyssa and Arbus wants to get her something special but not TOO special while Gunther wants Alyssa's help in pursuing the girl of his dreams.... well, the girl of his dreams who isn't Rachel!
