Ronald Reagan reference!!!
In light of the recent passing of our fortieth President, I was emotionally touched when I watched a recent episode of L&S in which one of the women (NOT Laverne or Shirley) said "He'll make a good governor!" or something similar. I forget which episode it came out of, but I think it was #140 "Night at the Awards" (guest star Joey Heatherton) from the 1981-82 season--during his first term in the White House. Either that one or #141 "Some Enchanted Earring" or #142 "Moving In". Ronald Reagan was governor of California in the 1960s, in which L&S was set.
Did anyone else see this episode recently on Lifetime and know it was a reference to old Ronald? |
