Computer freezing problem - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have an imac computer of my own, and it freezes all the time. It's so annoying!! I swear, it freezes at least once a day.
What do you think is causing this problem? It's been happening for a long time. What should I do?

Computers freeze when theres too many programs running.. you can hit CTRL+ALT+Delete and close the programs that you aren't using. If you have windows XP you click on the 'processes' tab. the ones you are using are explorer, and what else you have up like internet explorer, paint, microsoft word, or whatever you're working with.

Usually, I just have the internet up when it freezes..sometimes AIM too.

there's usually programs running in the background, like rundll32.exe, tvm.upd, wkssb.exe etc, that you can close when you hit CTRL+ALT+Delete

she is using a MAC - not Windows....

Soooooo....I think it would be like Apple (the key w/ 4 loops on it) + Control + Delete.

I wish I could help ya.

I used iMacs a lot in high school, because the high school I attended had a library computer lab w/ iMac's, so yeah.

I forgot what Apple + Control + Delete does, though.

But my computer isn't even that old. It's only about 3 or 4 years old. But I'll talk to my Dad about it.
