Default Does this mean I'm not normal?

I'm 13 and I still have to have a babysittter, and my babysitter puts me in time out just for fighting w/ my sisters. (I can't stay home alone with my sisters all day).
I don't get any real kids jobs like babysitting.
I get told to 'shut up' at least 3 times a day. People cut me down all the time.

I feel like I'm not normal...am I normal??

my brothers and i had to have a babysitter till i was about 15 or so - we'd pretty much tried to kill each other on a daily basis (this was before Ritalin and other drugs were so popular)

i specifically remember one babysitter tieing us into bed with our sheets, and several of them just giving up and leaving

...so to answer your question, no, you arent normal at all.

Nope, not normal.

J/K, although I don't know ANYONE who still had a babysitter at 13.

Neither have I. The oldest kid (other than me) that I know has a babysitter and they're 10.

I can't because I would be in so much trouble from my babysitter and my parents. I would probably be grouned for a long time.

How much older is the babysitter than you?
If he/she puts you in time out, maybe you should tell your parents your too old for that.

My babysitter will be 18 tomorrow.
My parents don't care one bit that she puts me in time out.

In the words of Stephanie Tanner:

HOW RUDE!!!

Are you sure the babysitter is for you, or is it more for your sisters than it is for you? My friend has a babysitter but it is for her 5-year-old brother, not her.
Does the babysitter know you dont like to be put in timeout?
