Question Is North Shore going to be renewed?

Right now, putting everything I've learned about Summertime Dramas...no.

However, it is not that bad of a show. It's too fast-paced and different than Melrose Place and 90210. If they slowed the pace and how the scenes are introduced and stuff, maybe it would be easier to follow. Too music rap music. They need to do more instrumental/ sexy toned music...like saxaphones and stuff. I think all this rap is not good. Maybe for the beach scenes it's okay, but the hotel pool scenes I think it's not good to use rap. Maybe Saxaphone music when beautiful women come out of the pool is better. It's making the show too hip and young, it should make it more mature than wild.

The plots kind of suck asphalt LOL! I don't think it would take long to bring closure to this show if it was cancelled. Having new guests each week confuses me, since you dont know if they are only there for that 1 episode, or are coming back???? I think this hurts the show for me.

I am glad about the opening credits sequence...they finally have one. However, too fast. They need to slow it down. The trouble with this show is that it's too FAST PACED. Plots are resolved too fast. Like Nichole and her sister leaving with that guy. Maybe the sister could always return, but I doubt it. I think it's best to just drop it where it is!

MY IDEA OF A SERIES FINALE:

Have Nicholes BF come on the show (as he is) then by the end of the summer have some kind of Cliffhanger that will close the doors to this "Summertime Drama". Even if it's set in Hawaii, it would be nice to have a show year-round with hot weather, but come on...I think by early September this show will be canned.

TAKE IT FROM A TV DRAMA EXPERT. THIS SHOW NEEDS TO UPDATE SOME THINGS I TALKED ABOUT BEFORE AND AGAIN LOL.

Finally I give this show an 8/10. I can see watching it all Summer, which is great, but I think really...it doesn't stand a chance. Maybe it does, but I think that if it is renewed it should make major changes. MAJOR MAJOR CHANGES. Cast is nice, but the pace and plots are stinky.

I STILL LOVE IT THOUGH

Dude this show is all I need for the summer time. It's going to be around. You'll see.

I read that Fox is going to air this show through out the entire summer so maybe it will last. I know that networks are expeirimenting with this year round programming and from what I've read summer months are the worst for networks so these shows aren't going to have quite the same numbers in ratings or the same pressure that shows in the fall will.
Maybe this is a way for networks to test the market for shows they want to carry over into the fall.
