I recall someone mentioning this case was discussed a lot on the boards but upon a search I can only find vague references to her in the "Angela Hammond" backlog.
What is the Tami Leppart case - Please refresh my memory? Thanks Later. |

She was a young model who disappeared in Florida during the summer of 1983. It was mentioned in the UM segment (which aired in the fall of 1992) that she was to appear in the Al Pacino movie Scarface, but dropped out of the project after being frightened about a gruesome death scene. She was believed to be paranoid, convinced that someone was going to do her in.

I just saw this last night did she ever come back or did anyone find her? It sure was a weird case. I wonder if somebody was really after her wouldn't it be sad though if she was schizophrenic and just left never to be heard from again. It was a weird and creepy case.

Tammy Lynn Leppert's sister Suzanne is keeping this case alive on the net and should be highly commended for showing such strength and courage in her continuing search to discover the truth. The following is a link to a board she started a couple months ago "I care--Missing Persons, Cold Cases".
http://p208.ezboard.com/ficaremissin...opicID=1.topic She shares newspaper articles she has collected over the years as well as personal pictures and the actual police report of Tammy's dissapearance. Truly a hauntingly beautiful site...my best to Suzanne and her family. |
