Default the last episode

According to tvtome.com the last episode produced was "JJ and TC" rather than "Over the Rainbow" (the one where they all get out of the ghetto). This is odd in that Esther Rolle isn't in this episode, it is a rather unremarkable episode and the actress that plays TC in this is different from the one who played her earlier in the season in "JJ and the Plumber's Helper". Also "JJ and TC" has basically the same plot as that earlier episode: just more detail: TC likes JJ and gets a makeover from Thelma to get JJ's attention and he takes her out.

I remember this episode being the last one shown when I watched the show in local reruns. Is it the last one shown in reruns on cable now?

Also considering that the last few episodes were unaired on CBS it seems curious that this one was even produced at all.

The first TC was more attractive when she was made over. The second TC was unattractive before and after the makeover-LOL Yeah i found it odd that Esther Rolle was absent in certain eps of season 6. She wasn't in the ep when Sweet Daddy needed blood from J.J and another one i can't think of.

On second thought she could have been in a holding cell somewhere being questioned about the disappearance of Carl.

She probably ate him.

None of the 8 regulars in year 6 appear in every episode. This is not uncommon in a show that has a large cast.

OH OK, I wonder why she was in all of them and the others weren't? Is she in every episode of the series?

I could have almost sworn that she wasn't in the one when Penny's mother comes back.

You are right. Thinking about it now, in the episode Matters of Mothers, the only characters seen was Florida, Michael, Penny, Willona, and Bookman.

Which one of the good Times cast members had perfect attendance? I'm thinking maybe it was Michael or Thelma.

The second TC was played by an actress by the name of Ronalda Douglas; she appeared in a couple of What's Happening!! eps, and she was on The New Odd Couple, but I have to agree, she was not very attractive...
