Default Wanting to be just like your big sister

Remember in the episode "The Hole-in-the wall gang"?
Stephanie wanted to be just like DJ...she dressed like her, acted like her, and stuff like that. Then Michelle started to want to be like Stephanie....

OK, this is what is weird.
Both of my younger sisters don't want to be like me at all..in fact they try to avoid it!
Like sometimes my youngest sister will take a picture of it, but she won't let me take one because she doesn't want it to be the same.
And if she has some makeup on, and I want some, she complains and says "I don't want to look like you" or "Get another color". When she has a really cool hair stlye on, and I want mine like that, she'll say "No, I don't want to look lke you".
Why is she acting this way?? I mean Stephanie WANTED to look and be just like DJ, but why doesn't my little sister?
I'm not saying I want to look like my sister, I'm just saying I want her to look up to me like Stephanie looks up to DJ.
Which is more normal?

It's because they're getting older. And your parents let your 8 year old sister wear make-up?

Just chap stick, eye shadow, blush, and stuff like that...but usually our older cousin does that for us.

Oh. My 7 year old sister thinks it's unfair that I get to wear make-up and she doesn't. That's why she resents me.

Do most sisters look up to their older sisters?

Mine does. That's why she's mad that I look btter than her. Everyone else I know only has a little brother who look up to them.

Should I be mad that my little sisters don't look up to me, but everyone else looks up to their older sister?
I am a little mad.

I wouldn't be. It's a pain in the ass having a minature version of you following around and invading your privacy.

Yeah, that's true.
But why don't you think my sisters can at least kinda look up to me?

Don't worry about your sibling problem!
Not all sisters wanna be like their older sisters. Maybe they want to be more independent , rather than be a follower. My friend has a younger sister , and her sister doesn't want to be like her at all. There's nothing wrong with you , some siblings are just different.
