Here's an article on Lori Loughlin I found on http://et.tv.yahoo.com !
'Summerland's Lori Loughlin Talks Plastic Surgery! June 25, 2004 Former "Full House" aunt LORI LOUGHLIN is making waves on her new, top-notch, WB drama "Summerland" (Tuesdays 9 p.m. EDT). Tonight on ET, we head to the set to chat candidly with the actress about everything from family, to career, to the Hollywood pressures to stay in tip-top shape -- at any cost. "I'm not opposed to plastic surgery," Lori says. "I think that if people want to do something to change their looks or enhance their looks, and it makes them feel better about themselves, then so be it. I personally haven't done any, but like I said to my husband (designer MOSSIMO GIANULLI), when it comes time for me to do my eyes, I'm going do my eyes. I'm not at that point yet, but I'm certainly open to that." Lori believes that people can go overboard with the surgery, but most people do it right. "Years ago, when I worked on 'Full House,' I worked with a very pretty woman and we went away for a hiatus. She came back and she looked amazing -- I mean just absolutely amazing. She said she had her eyes done and I thought, 'Wow, that worked really well!'" But Lori does acknowledge it can be taken too far. "Sometimes people get a little crazy and you see people that have had plastic surgery and then they start to lose perspective on what they look like," she says. "Sometimes you see people with extremely fake-looking lips, but I don't know what the balance is." Lori's "Summerland" character Ava Gregory is also trying to find some balance with the curve ball life has suddenly thrown her way. She is a fashion-designing, good-living, carefree woman with close friends who unexpectedly receives custody of her sister's three kids after a tragic accident. It is a new, uncertain change that she and her niece and two nephews are forced to deal with. "You have two groups coming together," Lori explains. "You have the kids and you have the adults and they're both at this point in their lives where they're coming of age ... the adults are still growing up too." But Lori, who has two daughters and one stepson and will turn 40 next month, says she couldn't be happier being at the other end of the spectrum from her TV persona. I feel truly, at this point in my life, very settled and very grounded where I'm at, and very content and very happy, and all in a good way," she says. "I think, 'Boy, if I could have felt this secure or comfortable or confident in my 20's, I could have ruled the world!'" For more on Lori and her new hit show "Summerland," check out tonight's ET
