YeAh Cameron was Charlie Sheen's passenger in the car along with the girl who was being sent to reform school.

I don't remember any of em' and I was born in 72'. Dragonfly sounds vaguely familiar but I may be thinking of something else.

"only reply if you were born before 1980" (I'm guessing that's what you meant to say)

Yeah, because you've only seen 80's movies if you were born in the seventies (or before).

I guess everyone born after 1980 was shoved in a closet and forbidden from watching films. Then, once the 80's were done, they took all the film made in that decade and made a huge bonfire. Man, I really feel sorry for those people that were born January 1st 1980. They missed some great films.

even tho I missed the deadline by barely a month (12-03-79), I kinda understand where Solomon was getting at. When you ask someone who was born in 1986 about "80's movies", you'll generally get the same old Back To The Future, Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club, Footloose and Ferris Buellers Day Off responces. Just like I was born in 1979, but most of the 70's films I'll talk about and/or have seen were the big ones like Star Wars, Alien, Halloween, Grease, etc..., lots of obscure films fall beneath the cracks of time and will wind up forgotten except by those who were around and remember them. For every Porkys that kids who were born years after it's release have seen, there's a Spring Break or Up The Creek that those who DIDN'T grow up in the 1980's probably have never heard of before.

I did'nt know Sleep Away Camp was made in the 80's,but I rememeber wacthing it when it came out in vedio. Sleepaway camp 5 or 6 is coming out i think soon.SAC did not do as well as like Friday The 13th series, but it did have parts 2,3,4.I think it was direct to video.

Well, I was born in 1985, and I appreciate 80's movies. One of my favorite movies is "Summer School" (1987), and you don't hear many people talk about it. It starred Mark Harmon and Kirstie Alley. Soooo....I'm not your typical person born in the 80's that likes the movies that were big that decade...I DO like all the movies listed...but I don't like them as much as the underrated movies of that decade.

Nope, you're not the only one. I didn't even see an '80s film until I saw E.T. in school. Then, I didn't see any '80s films until I started to get cable, which was about 6 years ago. I grew up most of my life without cable. There are still lots of '80s sitcoms and '80s films that I've never seen. I don't watch much tv. I write and listen to music alot. Sometimes I think if any '80s sitcom I haven't seen yet comes out on DVD that I would like to see, I'll buy it and then wait a long time before watching it. I figure I've waited so many years, one more day won't kill me.
