Post you want believe how popular fol really is read this!!!!

First hi everyone, its great to be back after 2 months. Just wanted to let everyone in on something I discovered today. I seen where Fol had over 4000 posts on this board. That is an astounding number to say the least. I thought to myself Fol had to be in the top 5 shows on here. Well not only was it in the top 5, but it was number one. It blows all shows away. The mumber 2 show was Chico and something with around 1500 posts. Not Friends,Family Ties, Lucy or any other sitcom in Fol's league. I mean from the 50's to present time. So this should show how immencly popular are beloved Fol is. I wish these ridiculous networks would wake up and see this. Just thought everyone would find this interesting.

On this board, these are the top ten shows:

#01- "The Facts of Life" (1979-1988)
#02- "Chico and the Man" (1974-1978)
#03- "Three's Company" (1977-1984)
#04- "Happy Days" (1974-1984)
#05- "Diff'rent Strokes" (1978-1986)
#06- "I Love Lucy" (1951-1957)
#07- "Gilligan's Island" (1964-1967)
#08- "The Brady Bunch" (1969-1974)
#09- "Laverne & Shirley" (1976-1983)
#10- "The Hogan Family" (1986-1991?)

Outside the Board I Dunno. Around here "Diff'rent Strokes" and "Three's Company" are the most popular.

Thumbs down

It was such a bad move for N@N to drop FOL. They will surely regret it when they notice their ratings drop dramatically.

ME! ME! ME! ME! ME! I watched it a bit when Famly Ties started out of respect for MJF but then I stopped again. Now that I know what rats N@N are, I just can't watch anything on the network for long.

No, I don't think it's the most popular sitcom of the 80's (although I personally think it ought to be). People just like to discuss it more than any other sitcom (I have no idea why- it must have something to do with all the trivia behind the characters and writing of the show, not to mention that the show has experienced numerious changes during it's 9 year course).

ME. I really don't care for "The Facts Of Life". The one thing that I didn't like about it is that Blair seems like a duplicat of Marcia Brady. And of course the character of Blair wasn't as good as the character of Marcia. Marcia was the original one and Blair was the old copy cardboard one.
