Default graduation episode

What were your thoughts on the graduation episode? I thought it was kind of disapointing as it felt more like another episode and didn't really have the special feeling it should have, perhaps a two parter or 1 hour episode would have worked better. It was also totally unrealistic with zack suddenly being told he's 1 credit short and doing a play to get a credit.

I followed the show during it's original run. As a kid, I really enjoyed it. It was funny. And I think that Zack being one credit short was so like him. So, I believed it. I cried a lot at the end. And I may still shed a tear every now and then when I watch it. I remember where and what I did on that day when it aired. It holds a special place in my heart.

It could have been a two parter...but I still think it would have had the same plot/theme to it. They're not going to be all mushy and say good-bye, etc. because that's just not Saved by the Bell. And I too believed the whole 1 credit thing. And besides, it doesn't have to be believeable because that's another thing Saved by the Bell isn't known for.

I've never been satisfied with the graduation episode, it just seemed rushed and emotionless, it wasn't a good way to end the series.

I'm so gratefully we got "The College Years," and the wedding episodes.

Yeah, it wasn't a good way to end a series...I guess they could have used some scenes with them saying good-bye to the school and the Max a little better...not to mention themselves since we weren't suppose to see them together ever again.

But I'm glad things worked out...we got to see TCY and the wedding. But you guys are right about the graduation episode. It did seem kind of rushed.

I also think they should have shown the parents there as it seemed silly having it appear to be in an empty auditorium.

haha Yeah...I have always thought that as well. They were putting on a graduation ceremony without their parents. LOL It also would have been nice to see them sing their school song as a big group...the whole class, not just the group.

And if it was an hour long episode they could have threw a music montage in there of them getting ready with putting their caps and gowns on and then it fading into them at the school getting pictures together, etc. I think that would have been cute.
