No there wAs never a series finale, only a season finale, which was a cliff hanger and was going to be resolved in the fall of 2001 but the show was cancelled before the following TV season which made the cliff hanger Permanent. Miles was kidnapped and Moesha faints when she hears the news at the end of the episode and that's how the show will always be remembered.

Boy, they could have at least finished that storyline. I remember when I first saw that episode when Miles was kidnapped and Moesha faints, and I was looking to tune in to see what happens only to find out it was cancelled.

Basically if the show was to go for another season, I think it would have been it's last. I will take a guess at this though, the mystery person who was pregnant was Moesha. Frank will not be too thrilled with this under the circumstances that he had Moesha young too. Anyway during one of the episodes. Hakeem proposes to Moesha & the final episode of Moesha will be of them getting married. Niecy will also have a man that would love her for her. Anyway, that's how I think it would have ended.

The way you put the ending sounds so cliche'. I love it! It sounds like they would actually have done it that way. I never thought the girl would be Moesha. I was thinking Alicia or Niecy. The problem I had with the show was that Brandy was trying to make it too dramatic and had Vida Spears fired from the show during the middle of season 5. Dorian became her brother/cousin. Dorian wound up having three mothers: Sandy, Aunt Dee and Barbara Lee who is his natural mother. He would have worked out fine as the cousin to begin with.

I think that making Dorian Frank's illegitimate son is what ruined the show.

The last two seasons were horrible to me! Moesha really turned into a completely different show basically after Kim left & not for the better. I hated Ray J's new addition to the show & what made me hate it worse was his fake, I'm a thug hard image as Dorian. All of the episodes became too serious when the show was originally about life as a teenager & the trials of being one. I think the show should have ended when everyone graduated from high school.

Default here's what I think happened (what if)

Since Alicia was eating some weird things and complained about her clothes being too tight, I say she was the one with child. The girl did have boyfriends galore anyway, so.....
Moesha may have moved in with Hakeem
Dorian would have gotten Miles back from Lil' Kim.

It is too bad that when Hakeem made appearances on The Parkers, he NEVER made references to the drama on Moesha, leaving the viewers cheated out of a series finale or some closure.

I forgot about Hakeem showing on some episodes of the Parkers after the cancellation of Moesha, so I guess Moesha being pregnant was out of the picture. I really would have liked Moesha,Niecy & Hakeem to cross-over for one episode to explain what happened. Like Moesha & Kim could have a brief talk, Kim asking about whoever was pregnant. Moesha explains to Kim what happened to Miles, etc... in a matter of minutes & therefore, things could be wrapped up as far as Moesha went.

Two things probably would have prevented that from happening. One was The Parkers was more silly and laid back than Moesha was towards the end. Moesha tended to be a primetime teen-colliegate soap opera with some of the storylines. Second, Brandy and Countess Vaughn had alot of tension behind the scenes of Moesha as Brandy became jealous of her getting more attention and more screentime.

I absolutely HATED the way the show ended. Miles got kidnapped, SOMEONE was pregnant, Moesha was to decide if she wanted to move in with Hakeem or not...this is the definition of a cliffhanger.
