Default worst of the best-

Hey Vixen
Maybe 9 or 7/?/?
7 is heavy in the Susan era. Has 111 The Engagement, 112 The Postponement, also the 2 parter 124/125 The Cadillac(s).

Hmmmnnn.... tuff to pick the worst of the best [show].

9 can can very annoying, they show it a lot, but I favor The Merv G Show & The Betrayal (I know the backwards ep isn't one of your favs).

You know I like the early stuff.

Season 9 just seemed they were too angry and bitter all the time. Too much anger means less laughs for me.

10 The Apartment
11 The Statue
12 The Revenge
13 The Heart Attack

Hmmm - yes Season 7 has plenty of Bland: Susan, Marisa Tomei, Todd Gack, "Downtown", The Flying Sandos Bros, the Gossiping Rabbi to name but a few...

But Season 9 had some real shockers, the appearance of a Nearly Dead Lloyd Bridges coaching Jerry should've been funny, but it just seemed sad, when added to Kramer pouring his blood into a car's gastank and George combining Lunchmeat and Sex you have a concoction for some really bad TV, other obnoxious moments from S9 include "Hoochie Mama", Fragile Frankie (pointless), A second appearance by Kathy Griffin, George pretending to own a house in the Hamptons, The whole frogger episode (Bar perhaps Elaine's cake story!), and bits of the final episode.

However if you tally them up for really great episodes I think Season 9 comes out on top:

Season 7 Favourites
The Maestro
The Hot Tub
The Soup Nazi
The Pool Guy
The Gum
The Rye
The Caddy
The Shower Head

Season 9 Favourites
The Butter Shave
The Merv Griffin Show
The Betrayal
The Apology
The Strike
The Burning
The Maid
The Puerto Rican Day

Wow OK so that's about tied - Overall while Season 7 exploited many of the situations that would come from George's relationship with Susan, Season 9 took out there risks and has some of the most memorable moments IMO, so, today at least, worst season goes to No 7 for feeling more like Season 6 - Part II, but not by much.

Season 9 could carry it away on the strength of the final scene (or is it the first scene) of 'The Betrayal' which shows Kramer (Kessler) and Jerry meeting for the first time. Brilliant.

As for season 2 - I loved it, such a simple time, The Chinese Restaurant, The Jacket and The Heart Attack are my 3 faves.

Call me crazy ( Hey Crazy) but I don't think there is a bad season. I have seen every episode at least 10 times, and love them all. I mean come on you did not fall over laughting when Frank was yelling Hoochie Mama.

While Susan herself is kind of a drag (not really the actress' fault), I find the whole scenario of George being trapped in a relationship to be some the funniest stuff on Seinfeld. Having to watch "Mad About You" (yikes), sleep in a crowded bed, telling Jerry that they had a pact, having to watch a "girl's" movie while Jerry watched Harrison Ford, having to explain the importer/exporter thing to Susan, right up to the George's feeling of releif when Susan is dead. George was never more sad and pathetic. Funny stuff.
