Sad I'm SOOOOO Sorry....

I wanted to apologize for crapping out early on you guys for the chat last night. I was on with hue_mee from about 7:30 till about 8:50 but then I started feeling bad and went to bed. I am still not feeling 100% (its my stomach) so keep me in your prayers. I did "chat" with Freddie before I went to bed last night, but it seemed to be a one sided conversation.... although in my mind's eye I could almost see him as he might have looked today, with his hair a bit shorter and greyer and a few lines around his eyes as he smiled at me when I told him that I knew all of his friends would have thrown him the biggest birthday bash if we had it in our power to do so....

I hope you all had a good day yesterday...

No problem! We just hope you are feeling better. We watched 2 CATM eps in honor of Freddie with my hubby then I got online & noticed no one was on. So I figured they must've got on & either no one was there or they chatted earlier & I missed them. Get well soon...

Sad I'm REALLY sorry too!

We had to be at our county fair yesterday, my older daughter had two projects in the 4H judging. Her pet rabbit got a blue ribbon and didn't attack the judges LOL, and her photography not only got another blue ribbon, but earned her a place at the State Fair (the first time she will be exhibiting there)! I was also indulging a bit too much in fair food, so I can relate to the stomach trouble, Lucky--get better soon and keep me in your prayers. Thanx mucho!

That was just yesterday. The problem in general is that--while I have not forgotten Freddie--I have fallen for another dark angel who is still among the living (though also very far away from me ). Trying to steal a chat with him takes a lot of my time...I hope you all will forgive me!

Luckymama, I must've come on here about ten minutes after you signed off! I'm sorry I missed everyone, but no problem -- Freddie was very much on my mind and heart yesterday, and though I would've loved to finish the day with a chat, it wasn't to be.

Meanwhile, I hope you feel better soon.

Maybe we can all chat another nite. When ya'll feel better...

I can relate to having other stars take up your time.

Starsky & Hutch, the 70's cop show is my latest obsession. Back in the 70's I was a teenager when the show came on (Am a 40 something now lol) & watched the show like everyone else did back then. I wasn't in love with S&H or thought they were cute but enjoyed the show. (Probably cuz I was in love with John Travolta, Shaun Cassidy & the Monkees back then. I still am a big fan of theirs as well as being a fan of folksinger Arlo Guthrie & 60's singer Tommy James who I later became
a fan of & now adding to my list of stars I'm a fan of, Freddie. I liked watching them jump over cars & shoot criminals & ride in the Torino & never really noticed the funny stuff or their close relationship like I did the chase stuff & the criminals. It was one of the many cool shows from back then that I liked. After the show was taken off the air I never saw it on tv anymore after that.

Where we live they don't have cable on our part of the road. We don't have paid satellite dish cuz we haven't been able to find a cheap descrambler for our big old satellite dish. So when the S&H re-runs were on TNT & TNN, I wanted to watch them but had no way to. Every yr my hubby & I go with my folks to the beach at Nags Head for a week to stay with them a their condo they have down there which get's rented to tourists when my folks aren't staying in it. One yr some yrs back when we went down to Nags Head the S&H re-runs were on TNT at 6 pm along with re-runs of the old 70's MEDICAL CENTER show being shown at 7 pm after it. That week I watched both shows for the first time in yrs. I was glad to see both shows back on & watched them every nite that week. Quite some time back I did come across some S&H sites while coming across some sites on some old shows from the 60's & 70's I like. I love to watch old shows from the 50's/60's & 70's. I enjoyed looking at the sites & reading some of the fan fictions.

Then I heard & read about the new S&H movie with the imposters in it & thought Glaser & Soul shoulda been in the movie & not 2 new guys. When I read about the dvd coming out I wanted it & wanted it when it came out so I could see the show again. My hubby snuck & bought the dvd of S&H without telling me (little stinker). I found it & just had to watch it. It turned out he had got the dvd on sale cheap at Walmart. So we watched the first episode & enjoyed it. We kept on watching the other episodes different days & pretty soon & got hooked on the show & really getting into it & started noting how cute PMG & DS are. I started looking up sites on the show & PMG & DS & here I am with a new obsession.

My hubby's afraid it's gonna be like it is for me with Freddie. I liked to watch CHICO & THE MAN in the 70's & enjoyed it but wasn't in love with Freddie Prinze Sr. We used to could get TVLAND free on our satellite dish but can't get it anymore due to them scrambling now. Back when we could get TVLAND, a few yrs ago re-runs of CHICO & THE MAN came back on TVLAND & when I found out they were coming back on I watched the re-runs & soon got into the show & Freddie Prinze Sr & went crazy for him & am now really into him & the show & am a big fan of him now. But hey I can always add a little diversity to my interest in stars, right? Unfortunately I won't be collecting everything on Starsky & Hutch (Paul Michael Glaser & David Soul) as I can't afford it so I plan to collect mainly the episodes of the show on dvd & vhs & the Hutch albums my hubby doesn't have (He has Hutches first album), the fiction books on the show, some cute pics of them off the internet & maybe a few other things. I like both PMG & DS. They are both cute! I love how they both get along so well & love & care about each other. I'm kinda leaning towards Starsky & think he's the cutest but I also think Hutch is cute too. I've seen some pics of Hutch on the internet that were hot & he looks hot in some episodes too. So hey I like them both together. They work so well together. What I'm really mainly getting into is the show & the guys on the show but am curious to see some of their other works too & get the rest of Hutches albums. But they really shined in the show...

Starsky & Hutch are my favourite roles to see them in. Anyway here I am getting into the show & the guys. It's probably a mid-life crisis like it is with Freddie Prinze but hey it's a good one! Don't worry I'm not forgetting Freddie...

Wink LOL Cheryl....

I do have other stars that I like almost as much as Freddie, but in this case my "other dark angel" is a "real" person. He might have qualified as a "star" when he was younger--cuz he was in a band that made a couple of records at Carnegie Hall in NYC--but these days he is just a self-employed consultant who plays guitar in a band in his spare time.

That's neat! Don't have any dark angels other than Freddie tho. Anyone else here into Starsky & Hutch, John Travolta, Shaun Cassidy or the Monkees? After reading Luckymamas new Muff Kovak stories, I bet she'd do great at writing a Starsky & Hutch fan fiction & esp one with Freddie in it...

Also whenever ya'll wanna chat, just let us know...

Default I feel bad that I've been away so long!!!!

I wanted to let you all know that we have had serious computor problems and our computor has been down for several weeks! I SO wanted to come on here and some of the other sites and post; especially on Freddie's birthday!

Through modern technology, it's like we can open up our windows and talk to each other, but lately, my "window" has been boarded up! I've been thinking of all you guys, though!

We ran some software that deleted over 2,000 "spy-ware" files that were infecting our computor and now have a pop-up blocker. Our computor is kinda old; it's not running 100%, but alot better for now!!

I would love another opportunity to chat real-time with everyone!

Welcome back! You may want to get an anti spyware remover like ADAWARE & run it every so often & after you install new programs. This helps with getting rid of spyware. Good luck!
