CBS has the top 100 songs of movies of all times,Summer Nights was 70.John Trovota host, and other stars will talk about the songs. It's kind of like VH1 segments of I Love the 80's.So what do you think that should be the # 1 song from movies? Also your top 20 list of all time movie songs?

Lose Yourself from 8 Mile made the list? Oh come on. There are so many other songs that could have taken the place of that one...

I missed it last night on TV. I love all the 100 songs from the movies. By the way, here are the other songs from the movies that didn't make to the list:
1. "Tomorrow" (from "Annie") 2. "Getting to Know You" (from "The King and I") 3. "How Deep Is Your Love" (from "Saturday Night Fever") 4. "Guys and Dolls" (from "Guys and Dolls") 5. "If It Isn't Love" (from "Finian's Rainbow") 6. "76 Trombones" (from "The Music Man") 7. "Around the World in 80 Days" (from "Around the World in 80 Days") 8. "Fortuosity" (from "The Happiest Millionaire") 9. "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" (from "Cinderella") 10. "Moonlight Becomes You" (from "Road to Moracco") 11. "Sililoquy" (from "Carousel") 12. "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" (from "Oklahoma!") 13. "Ol' Man River" (from "Showboat") |

What about some of the songs from "Romi and Michele's High School Reunion"?
Some songs on ther that I think are good are: 1. Go-Gos- "Our Lips are Sealed" 2. Go-gos- "We Got The Beat" 3. Robert Palmer- "Addicted To Love" 4. Robert Palmer- "Doctor, Doctor" 5. Devo- "Whip It" Also, the film "La Bamba" had good music, too, like "La Bamba", "Come On Let's Go", and lots of other 1950s classics. |

What a crock - no Beatles songs! Where's "A Hard Day's Night?" "Can't Buy Me Love?" "Help!"? "Ticket To Ride?" Don't the Fab Four's movie tunes count for anything anymore?

You hear that sort of thing in a lot of places. That's not my milieu. Rock and roll is good-time music. I love rock. So did my parents. |
