to the boards a few minutes ago? I couldn't get in at all.

There was a limit on attachments and it was reached this morning. TJ had to fix it the past hour and a half so he shut the boards down.

I backed up the database first, that would have totally disabled everything for atleast a few minutes. The database is huge so it takes 5-10 minutes to back it up. I usually try and do that late at night at like 4AM, but I had to do it first because I didn't want to screw everything up and lose anything. Then I worked on the attachments problems that was preventing any new ones from being uploaded, I think that is fixed now.

And I still don't know how to add attachments to my posts. Everytime I try, it never shows up.

To add an image, you right-click the image, click properties and then copy the URL, then you come here, click IMG insert the link and then click IMG again and it should work.
