I really liked the overlapping dialogue. It was confusing at first, but it made the OR scenes a lot more realistic.
I think it would have been great for the series. |

I haven't seen the movie for quite awhile but I know I really liked Duke Forrest in the book and would loved to have seen him on the show. I also would have liked Hawkeye's personality to be somewhat more like it was there. Oh, and Spearchucker. They should have kept him, or at least givin him more than one line at a time.

I also wish they would have kept Duke & Spearchucker. Along with "The Painless Pole"-and have Hawkeye married like he was in the book and the movie.

Oh, yeah! Painless! Hawkeye mentions him in the first episode. He would have been good. Who do you all think would have done those parts?
Boy, these make great what-ifs! It's nice to be able to imagine things how you want them, which is one reason I'm not too fond of some episodes.

I think John Goodman or Tom Arnold would probably have been good as Painless, and as Duke, I don't know...let's see...hmmm....John Travolta, maybe???
