Default Episode-J.J's New Career shows how DUMB J.J really was-LOL

In this episode, J.J takes a job that dealt with gambling and dope and was trying to keep it a secret from the Family. So if he was trying to keep a secret, why the hell would he buy all those expensive gifts and a 25 inch TV? Damm he was a stupid Man-LOL If he wanted to keep a secret he could have just stocked up the refrigerator with food and that's it. That idiot was walking through the door with gifts for no reason.

I don't know about his I.Q., but J.J. obviously got his sense of morals from his father.

BTW, J.J. was not told that drugs were involved until they were running from the police.

If he planned on doing that gambling TEMPORARY, he should have done a better job of hiding it. But in a way, could you really blame him for hooking up with those guys? I mean the Evans Family received a eviction notice and tried to sell the TV and then J.J was mugged. So since he didn't have no income and no unemployment coming in, he really had no choice. He just shouldn;t have been so stupid about it.

Why am I not surprised you feel that way? Any crime seems to be okay with you as long as someone is poor and they don't get caught. Kids, if you're reading this, I want to assure you that there's always a better way than a life of crime.

It's ironic. As much as you claim to like Good Times, you seem to miss its ultimate message:

There's more dignity in being honest and poor than crooked and rich and there's always an honest way to survive.
