Fanfic: Wally and Eddie's little talk

It is on Saturday in mid afternoon, and Wally asked June if Eddie could come over. In this, Wally is 12 and Beaver is
7.

Wally: Mom, can I call Eddie and have him come over?
June: I have no alternative plans for this afternoon, so I guess you can.
Wally: Thanks mom.
(dials Eddie's number)
Eddie: What's up Sam? Any grown ups around? Because I have something really important to talk to you about.
Wally: Okay, so you'll come soon. Bye.

(Wally goes up into his room. 5 minutes later Eddie arrives.)


Eddie (after seeing Beaver): Get out of here squirt! Wally and I have some mature things to discuss.
Beaver: Make me!
Eddie: If you are mean to me I'll get my genuine police dog to come after you. So scram!
(Beaver walks out and closes the door. And as Eddie and Wally don't know, Beaver is listening at the door.)
Eddie: So Wally, can I tell you what I was going to tell you?
Wally: How do I know unless you tell me?
Eddie: Well, my father was explaining to me about sex. Has your old man told you about it yet?
Wally: No, but you can tell me.
Eddie: Well, sex is what a man and a woman do to have a baby. It's a long process. It's what created me, you, your little brat of a brother, and everybody.
Beaver (walks in): I just heard everything you said Eddie! I'm telling all of my friends.
Eddie: I'll clobber you if you do.
Wally: Eddie, I think you'd better go now. After what Beaver heard and everything.

The whole family is at dinner.

Ward: This is a really good dinner June. You rarely ever make pork chops.
Wally: It's delicious mom.
Beaver: Dad, you wouldn't believe what Wally and Eddie were talking about today. They were talking about s.......
Wally put his hand over Beaver's mouth.
Beaver: Well, they were talking about sex.
Wally: Why Beave I will clobber you!!
June: Wally, you are only 12. You have many years left before that's an issue.
Ward: I think I will have to punish both of you. Beaver for saying disruptive things at the dinner table and Wally for discussing them in front of your younger brother!
Wally: But dad.....
Ward: None of that! Both of you go to your rooms and you can't come out tomorrow either!
June: I never imagined Wally to talk about that to his younger brother.
Ward: June, it's another milestone in our child's life.
June: And you think it's alright to have them talking about sex?
Ward: No, I wouldn't have punished them unless I did.

up in the boys room

Beaver: Boy we really got busted this time!
Wally: Shut up! We wouldn't be up here if it wasn't for your big mouth. Now look what happened!
Beaver: Wally, what exactly is sex?
Wally: Something Gilbert or Larry will tell you about when you are my age.
