Hi long time reader and occasional poster
There are two "semi-recent" cases that have interested me. I term them "semi-recent" because they are lifetime produced segments. For those of you who don't know - Morgan Nick was a five year old girl who was kidnapped when she wandered away from her mother Colleen during a baseball game in 1995. Since that time her mother has formed THE MORGAN NICK FOUNDATION which helps locate missing children and her plights were broadcasted on UM during the summer of 2001 I believe. There sadly has been no update on Morgan's whereabouts and I must say the composite sketch of the man is really not much help as he looks like any white male in his thirties. The sad fact is that as these cases get older (To give you an example: Morgan would be already a pre-teen by now) the children get harder and harder to locate due to changes in physical appearance. However, it should be noted that us "UM buffs" are not always provided with "updates" (either on air) or on the internet in these cases due to some information being strictly confidential. Has anyone else heard anything on this case - The Morgan Nick Foundation site is still up and running and copyrighted up to 2004 even though it has not been updated I believe in over a year. I just hope that Morgan does not slip through the cracks like Nyleen Kaye Marshall or Tara Calico (even though leads still come in on the latter and they are promising according to a recent article) Oh well here is hoping for Morgan Nick Later. |
