Default A 11 year old girl in NJ lies about being kidnapped today

When i heard this story this morning, i never believed it. It was reported that she was tied up by a kidnapper and she chewed through the rope and was able to get away. After the police investgated the story, they found ot the girl made he story up. A similar story in Philadelphia 2 years ago about a 7 year old chewing through duct tape to get away from a kidnapper never sound true to me either. It's the media that hypes everything up just to get a story. So I wonder who is more embarassed, the producer of local news or the mother of the 11 year old girl?

Yes she made it up, Police in Southern, NJ investigated the story for 2 days and found out she made the story up. The girl said she was kidnapped on Saturday and was able to get away.

So where did she go while she was 'kidnapped'? Hide in a sandbox?

Brent88 posted the link if you want to read the entire story. I just mentioned that a 11 year old girl made up a story about being kidnapped.

Haha...I like the basic outline of the story, too. Reading the whole article just takes way too much time.

I can't believe someone would make that up, much less an 11 year old girl. What reason could she possibly have for making that up?

I guess nobody ever told her that story about the boy who cried wolf.

She was probably feeling attention starved or something. Still, eleven year olds should know better than to lie about something like that at that age. Anyone who lies about things like that are either nasty little s***s or have some bad wiring in their heads of some sort.

I never believe stories like that. Even when the news claimed a 7 year old girl chewed her way through duct tape 2 years ago, it sounds made up. No 7 year old has thattype of mindset to think about escaping. First of all they would be scared and crying.

I've been hearing about that story all week on the radio. I can't believe she made it up. That girl needs some help.
