Default Fatherhood = Stinker!

Okay, I watched the pilot for Fatherhood last night and I'm going to honestly say I HATED IT!!!

Yes, I was expecting an animated Cosby Show. Sabrina LeBeauf even said that on the previews!

"On the street, people tell me how much they liked the Cosby Show and how there's not many shows like that. I think we're doing it again in animation, but it's going to be a little more hip, a little more now, etc."

That's not the exact quote but you get the picture.

I was really anticipating this, but I guess all animation nowadays is terrible, even Fatherhood, created by the genius Bill Cosby.

I hated it because I wanted it to be like another Cosby Show, but it wasn't, and I didn't even find it funny.

I didnt watch it and I dont plan on watching it. It looked like a boring show and I think The Cosby Show is a much better show. It looked like a very stupid, corny, pointless, and unfunny show. Sadly, this show is here to stay because it got excellent ratings- But shoulnt this be on the Cartoons/Animated Series board?

I only saw the first episode, which wasn't as terrible as you're all making it sound. I think that it will improve with time. Many first episodes are horrid in comparison with later episodes, as the show needs to "find itself" as it starts to get going.

I haven't seen the show yet, but I do plan on viewing it eventually. I think that Sarbina's quote might have been a little misjudged. Maybe she meant that the show would create a Cosby Show like atmosphere.

I missed the First One, but, I saw the Second one, not Bill Cosby's best work, but, I'm sure it'll improve

Thanks, There are alot of things from Roseanne that make me laugh, like this
(from "A Stash from the past")
DJ Knocks on the bathroom door
Jackie: The jig is up!
Dan: Who is it?
DJ: It's DJ
Dan: DJ, D-J, ever notice how weird that sounds
Roseanne: (quickly), What do you want DJ!
That was a great ep

Yes! "Fatherhood" is the second Bill Cosby animated series long after "Fat Albert" that it was done by the same creator he did back in the 70's.

I completely agree. 'Fatherhood' is horrifyingly bad bad bad. Bill Cobsy has finally lost it. What kinda name is Bindlebeep anyway?

Fatherhood is nothing more than an animated version of the Cosby Show, and not a very good imitation either
