Default I never knew Malcolm Jamal Warner starred in his own show in 1992 on NBC?

Anyone remember seeing this show? I never knew Malcom was in a new Sitcom after the Cosby Show ended.

I vaguely remember it. It was called Here And Now, and it aired on Saturday nights. I think Malcolm's character ran a community center or something like that.

I also remember that the theme song was Arrested Development's "Tennessee"

Wasn't the Theo character running a community center on TCS?

He was working at a community center during the final season. (He got the job at the end of Season 7).

From TVTome:
"Here & Now" ran from Sep 1992 to January of '93.

Interestingly enough, it was executive produced by Bill Cosby.

I seen a couple episodes but I didn't care for it. He was to much like Theo but without Bill Cosby it just wasn't funny.

He was also in Malcolm & Eddie, which aired on the UPN from 1998-2000, I believe
