existed since 1950!!!!!. I was shocked when i found that out. I had no idea cable went back that far.

Yeah, it was called CATV. It was for people who didn't receive any TV signals.

I didn't know that either, I always thought it came out in the 70's.

We didn't get cable until '79.

In the 1950's the only channels that were around were ABC, CBS, and NBC. It's not the cable of today or even 20 years ago.
