Skippy the Bush Kangaroo
--from the 60's, Australia's answer to Flipper, but with a Kangaroo. These next shows are ones I'm positive I saw, but for the life of me cannot remember their titles: There was a show, I believe either late 80's early 90's, a Brady Bunch type blended family, except the dad and his kids were humans, and the mom and her kids were aliens who looked kind of like Sid and Marty Krofft creations. Next show, from the 70's, about a girl who lives in New York City, her husband died and she's about to be remarried. She lives in an apt. with a long spiral staircase. Her soon to be 2nd husband asks how her first husband died. She answers, "He went hot air ballooning naked, the wind changed direction, and he fell out". Fiance asks, "What was he trying to do? Moon the world?" She answers, "No, just Manhattan and half of Brooklyn" Final show, also 70's, was about a girl who was on a waiting list for either law or medical school. The day before the semester starts, a boy drops out, so she's able to go. Of course, the school doesn't change her name on anything, so whenever she answers to his name in class, she has to explain why she's a girl and not a boy. She's also assigned to his dorm room - before colleges went co-ed, and her catch phrase is, "AW CRUD!" The actress was really cute, and wore her hair like Dorothy Hamill. Help!! |
