Default Favorite chase scene?

Here is a fun and not so difficult topic. Post and tell me some of your favorite Moonlighting chase scenes. Here are a few of mine:

1) in the hearse in the episode "Knowing Her" that ends on the baseball diamond with the coffin flying out of the back of the hearse and landing on home plate.... "He's safe!"

2) Lady in the Iron Mask with all Maddie, David, the masked woman and her husband all dressed in identical black dresses with veils and running through a hotel destroying things along the way. "Anybody wanna play twister?" Too hilarious!!

3) the chase in the milk truck in Maddie's Turn to Cry that ends up in the bowling alley. "Strike!"

Who else has some to mention?

Another one that is hilarious that I forgot to mention is the chase scene early in the series when Maddie is driving and David is trying to tell her where to go, when to turn, etc etc and they end up in a dead end alley... this is in the episode The Murder's in the mail which is the one with the man with the mole on his nose and the huge food fight in the banquet hall at the end.

Thumbs up chase scene

Best chase scene:" Between a Yuk and a Hard Place"
UP UP and away in the beautiful balloon!
David chases the killer sitting on top of a balloon and Maddie's chasing them in a Jeep, screaming: I'm coming, David!!!
And David says: Good for you!

Get it???

I like the whole episode it's my favourite!

The "Lady in the Iron Mask" one was absolutely one of my favorites.

I also love the one from "...And the Flesh was Made Word" where David is chasing down the woman who wants to kill herself. Great stuff.

Oh. I just thought of another really funny one---the chase scene in the post office...where Maddie ends up in the mail cart, legs flailing in the air and David is pushing her.... the one liners and visuals on this one is super funny.

Okay, I love all those scenes aforementioned, but there is another one I like very much, the stupid thing is that I can't remember the name of the episode.....hmmm...

Well, it's in that episode where a man arrange his own murder, because his wive is dead. Then later he finds out his wive isn't dead, he sees her walking down the street. (do you know which episode I mean? Yes? Okay, then I can go on to the chase scene)

The scene starts when David shouts "Start the chase music boys!!!"

Then they start to chase a man. A starwars tune starts to play when David and the man are fighting with sticks. I just LOVE that scene haha

Greets Steph

P.S. I hope I didn't confuse you

The chase/sword fight with mop that has the theme from Star Wars playing occurs in the episode Funeral for a Doornail... this one ends with the fire hose and everyone getting squirted in the face.

The Man Who Cried wife only has a chase scene in a car as they try to catch up with the car of the client's wife who everyone thought was dead....that chase ends with the wife's car going off the road and exploding.....

I know it is hard to keep track of which chase scene goes where as seldom do they really have any reason as to WHY we are watching....but there are quite a few very funny ones.

Chase scenes did nothing for me. I guess I like the one in Maddie's Turn To Cry because Bruce and Cybill seemed like they were having such a fun time doing it. There were some memorable lines during the chase scenes -- it's just that I find that chase scenes are a little too slapstick for my taste.

My kind of chase scene is in Blonde On Blonde - David chasing Maddie all over town because he loves her and wants her to be with him only. I don't think that was the kind of scene you were referring to.

The chase scenes weren't my favorite part of the show either. But I especially liked the ones with good interaction between David and Maddie. I liked the one at the bowling alley in Maddie's Turn to Cry, the one at the post office in Yours, Very Deadly, and the one in the hearse in Knowing Her. The choice of music also made these the best ones for me.
