After tonight FOL will not be shown on any network..The only way we will be able to watch the shows is from what we have recorded.

There will probably still be Christmas specials, etc on TV Land..but no more regular showings. I am so upset. I have a large number of them on tape, but it just wont be the same.

*We have to all make a pact that even thought FOL Will not be on TV, we will keep our faith to FOL and this board by NOT LEAVNIG AND NOT LOOSING OUR INTEREST. WE WILL TRY AS HARD AS WE CAN TO CONVINCE ALL THE NETWORKS THAT WE CAN THINK OF THE BRING FOL TO THEIR NETWORK! FOL IS NOT OVER FOREVER!*

After the last time Nick at Nite showed The Facts of Life I just layed in my bed making loud noises like a dying dog cause I was sure I'd lose interest in it. I immediately downloaded video clips (I was stupid enough to never record it) and looked through my Facts of Life photo album ten thousand times.

I did things to "boost up" my interest like not shutting up about it and watching video clips and looking at pictures and it was abot that time when I got my Lisa Whelchel autograph. I wrote to most of the cast and hoped to get some replies. Every I'd (and still do) pray to my "goddesses", the characters LOL.

Amazingly, my obsession didn't die down one bit. But I just had to "keep in touch with it". Without this board I would have definitely lost interest in The Facts of Life a loooooong time ago.

Oh and by the way....I agree! I said all that because the moral of the story is to try not to forget about it.

I agree!! I'm a tad bit sick of it, I mean watching it 48 hours in a row who WOULDN'T be sick of it?!?! I have never heard the theme song so many times in my life!!!! But, as I watch the reunion, my FOL faith lives on.

but also this sux cuz i won't have as many tapes as you guys...my vcr screwed up big time and i do not have any of the eppys on tape that i wanted...if ne one recorded the marathon,can i give you a couple eppys i want and can ya copy em for me??!?!?!?!?i will pay big bux..i am dyin here!HELP!
