Raymond, Friends, Seinfeld, Cosby Show, and Roseanne all do very good in Syndication. I'm sure there are others. Maybe Pav can help us out.

Roseanne, Cosby Show, Full House on Nick@Nite. Andy Griffith, Beaver, Munsters, Three's Co, Green Acres, Bonanza, etc on TV Land. Golden Girls and The Nanny on Lifetime. TBS and WGN, I'm not too sure on -- but I would bet Seinfeld on TBS. |

I'm not sure about the cable channels, but The Futon Critic site recently mentioned some info about shows that air in syndication on local channels.
The top 4 highest-rated sitcoms, in order are... 1. Seinfeld 2. Friends 3. Everybody Loves Raymond 4. That '70s Show Also, I recently read somewhere on these boards at SO, that Roseanne was the highest-rated show on Nick@Nite, with The Cosby Show in second and Full House in third. I think the Roseanne info came from a Nick@Nite press release, but the other info I just read on one of the boards here... |

The syndicated sitcom ratings for this past season were disappointing because most of the sitcoms have been in syndication for a while and no new shows came on the scene.
That said, the top five are: 1. Seinfeld 2. Friends 3. Raymond 4. That 70s Show 5. Will & Grace (W&G may have tied 70s on the season since the two air in tandem in many markets) Also in the top 10 were King of Queens , Home Improvement & King Of The Hill. It amazes me that Roseanne is doing so well now, two years after it was off the air, it seemed ot be one of those shows that faded into oblivion. But viewers have rediscovered it, thank god. Or not, considering that the strong ratings is alot of what's holding back the DVD release. |
