Default Things about the internet that bug you...

I love the internet but it has many annoyances for me. Including (in no order):

- Those damn websites that don't let you leave by pushing the "back" key? They either keep you on the same page or take you back to their homepage. I can't stand it, it's like the site is trying to force you to stay there. Sometimes I need to use the back key if I can't remember the URL of where I was before, so it's really annoying. Why do some websites do this?

- Websites that have music on their pages and don't give you the option of turning it off.

- Websites that give you a new cursor for the duration of your stay.

- Websites that freeze when you try to click them away.

- Websites with pop up ads, especially when the ads are porn and the site isn't sex related.

- Spam/junk e-mail (especially when the spammers try and fool the filter by titling the heading like they know you).

- Spammers on forums.

- Trolls.

- People who use text speak ("u" and "r" for example) or just have really terrible grammar. I don't expect complete perfection but it annoys me when people don't even try and in some cases even flaunt that they type "kewl" or it's "quicker".

- Closed forums (IE forums that don't allow new registrations).

- Those fandom elite snobby crowds who think they're better than the rest.

- Sites with a ton of broken links/images.

I think those are the major problems with the internet, they're the ones that bug me the most anyway. How about your online peeves?

Okay, one.

YAHOO MAIL. *breaks all their servers* IT ISN'T LETTING ME DELETE MY SPAM EMAILS. I CAN empty out my Bulk Mail folder, but it WON'T let me do ANYTHING in my regular inbox page.

Oh Yahoo! is a pain. I'm always getting "temporary problem accessing your mail box, please try again later" messages when I try to go to my mail. I've emailed them about it but they've not answered me yet. Sigh.

Ok I have to agree with all of those. And Google. You do a search, and when you go to one of the sites, its not their anymore!

Wow...you're right on with so many of those.

And really, how much longer does it take to type the "y" and the "o" in you?

Rude people who judge others by their interests and place them under a label, people have a bug up their ass and are unable to laugh.

Those types of people can be found at this very board.

I hate spyware. I'm going to end up killing myself because it never goes away.
