I'd like to see Julia. I've only seen one episode and I thought it was good. Of the show's I've never seen I'd like to see Here Come The Brides, The Bill Cosby Show (not the Cosby Show) and The Mothers In Law.

Any show from between 1968 and 1975 that I haven't seen?

Seriously, short-lived shows from that time period I would love to see. I'm sure there are some shows that were aired then I just have no interest in. But if they're rare enough I'd take a look.

It has to be something from that period you would like to see. What about Bridget Loves Bernie?

I caught that show once. Nothing special really. To answer the question, I have seen at least one episode of most of the sitcoms from that 7 year period that ran for at least a full season, including some pretty obscure ones like the African American version of Barefoot in the Park, Dick Van Dyke Show, the Karen Valentine Show and My World and Welcome to it. However I've never seen Roll Out and am curious to sample an episode. Also Tempertature's Rising with Cleavon Little from 1972. Another is the animated show Wait Til Your Father Gets Home with Tom Bosley as the voice of the title character.

I've got an episode of that on tape, actually. Just haven't watched it yet.

Among the shows you mentioned, actually I have seen some of these. I watched Temperatures Rising in reruns back in 1992 on WWOR,they showed only the first season of it,but not the second season when Paul Lynde replaced James Whitmore, and then halfway through the season,Paul left, and Cleavon became the main star of the show but it was cancelled after that. Joan Van Ark of Knots Landing made her first TV appearance on that show playing a nurse.

I have also seen The New Dick Van Dyke Show when it was on early in the mornings in the mid and late 90's. It was pretty good but I didn't get to see the show the whole way through.

My World and Welcome To It was shown in reruns on WGN back in the late 80's. It was also a pretty good show.

I wish that they would bring back Room 222 as well. I have read about The Karen Valentine Show in the TV book that I have. It only lasted a few months back in 1975. I think she played a city girl who moved to the country to live with her father and relatives.

I saw the pilot for Karen Valentine's series. She was divorcing her husband, I don't know if they actually got one in the actual series though. It had a 1974 copyright which would have made her one of the first divorcees leading a sitcom.

I like Room 222. I first saw it overseas and I saw 11 episodes at the Museum of TV and Radio in NYC. I don't think it is a dated series, but then again I'm nostalgic for that era. The actors were good and I could see why some would consider it more of a drama than a sitcom.

I actually like shows that are dated. It makes you feel like you re living at that time and place. I always thought of it more as a drama but I haven't seen any episodes since the early 80's and I'd love to see it again.BTW I saw Temperatures Rising on a local channel on Sunday Mornings in the early 90's ( not WOR) so it must have been syndicated some. I didn't think it was a bad show.

I've seen "The New Dick Van Dyke Show" and it is a very good show (1971-1973 at least though the 1973-1974 season isn't that bad).

Shows from 1968-1975 that I never saw, but would like to...

"The Ghost and Mrs. Muir"
"The Doris Day Show"
"The Courtship of Eddie's Father"
"Family Affair"
"Here's Lucy"
"Temperature's Rising"

The New Dick Van Dyke Show was very good especially when the episodes was based in Arizona. I did not like the show when they moved the locale to Hollywood and a whole new cast. The Arizona cast with Van Dyke was Hope Lange, Fannie Flagg, Marty Brill and Nancy Dussault. That cast worked well together and the shows were very entertaining. The problem was many episodes were duplicated from the original Van Dyke Show. Carl Reiner produced and directed the show. But The New Dick Van Dyke Show was ahead of its time without browbeating nor preaching. It dealt with a late in life pregnancy. TV at the time did not deal with that issue and interracial dating was dealt with. I would love to see that show again. Nancy Dussault was a hottie on that show.

I do remember Karen Valentine's series. It was very good. But she needed a stronger supporting cast.

Other shows I would like to see again:
The Mothers-In-Laws
All Is Forgiven
Bridget Loves Bernie
On Our Own
Nanny and the Professor
Love American Style
Family Affair
Julia
Here's Lucy
