(First of all, 55% + 15% + 15% + 15% = 100%)

Scenario A:

35/50 = .7, and .7 x .55 = .385
4/5 = .8, and .8 x .15 = .12
4/5 = .8, and .8 x .15 = .12
8/10 = .8, and .8 x .15 = .12

total: .745 or 74.5%

Scenario B:

37/50 = .74, and .74 x .55 = .407
4/5 = .8, and .8 x .15 = .12
4/5 = .8, and .8 x .15 = .12
8/10 = .8, and .8 x .15 = .12

total: .767 or 76.7%

I think that's right. It's been a lot of years since I took math.

15 + 15 + 15 + 55= 100% DUH!!! No WONDER!

It was the 85% that threw me off, lol.

Thanks, Pent!!!

No problem.

After a three-hour exam, I'm impressed that you can function at all. I'd probably need a nap.

Don't feel bad! I am terrible at Math! Always have been. My strong suits are spelling and geography.

I actually took a global history/geography test today. As you can see, I'm no genius in this area either.

Worst of all, it was a statewide exam.

I hate complicated math(Algebra and junk). Addition and Subtraction are so easy.

Thirty multiple choices wrong? And you got a 78? Are you SURE about that? LOL.

Ack. US history. I'm SO not looking forward to that next year.
Which regents did you take this year, by the way?
How many more do you need to take until you've taken them all?

The Global regents was really easy. I got an 83 on that one. The US History one...wasnt that bad. The multiple choice was really easy. And the DBQ essay was easy too. But the Thematic essay...the whole thing was BS. I didnt know what the hell I was talking about...

I actually thought the Global regents was quite hard-- the multiple choice questions anyway.

Just two more, huh?? Man, I wish I were in your shoes now, haha.

So far this year, I've taken Math A and Global. I take the French and Chemistry ones next Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
-sigh- One reason why I want to move out of New York.

I'm worried about the chem one. I seriously don't know , LOL. Heck, I can barely balance an equation!! You ready?

I dont care if I fail Chem, you don't need that one to graduate. it's just going to act as a final.
