That really bites I wonder which channel will pick it up next? Or, a better question, when will it be released on DVD?

Don't confuse bad with sad.

Sad is someone dying.
And I bet most people thought that is what this thread was about.

I'm confused why wouldn't you want it on DVD? N@N would edit the show, on the DVDs the shows are uncut.

Is Growing Pains coming back to ABC Family anytime soon? You think they would want to keep GP on the air to boost interest in the TV movie coming up later this year. Makes sense to me...

This still stinks a lot. I LOVE growing Pains. When it was cancelled I was really sad, just like how I was when Full HOuse went off the air.

I want the show on dvd cause two ABC shows are getting dvd sets........so why not Growing Pains? (the two are BOY MEETS WORLD & Who's the BOSS).

Plus, nick at nite is not always the best place to watch the shows.

If they bring Growing Pains to NICK, I want them to drop ROSEANNE.

My guess is, on the night of the second movie, there will be a reunion on ABC FAMILY, or whatever channel picks it up. Then two hours before the second movie, the first movie will be on either ABC FAMILY, ABC, or whatever channel has it. That would be cool. It would have episodes from each season beggining with
the pilot and ending with the last picture show part one and two. Just like what they did before the first movie on disney channel(USA).

Why? A DVD shows the episodes UNCUT, Nick@Nite edits it and can treat it badly.

the DVD would be better than having to record the show when it airs........and then have to be perfect with recording and not having the commercials.........and then you have to have like what.......10 or more tapes for all the seasons? At least dvds would last longer. And they don't need rewound.

They could have removed the show due to the fact that the syndication rights expired???
