I didn't ask for your opinion on **** I like. All I said was I don't like George Harrison. The other Beatles are okay but he reminds me of evil.

get off whatever you're smoking if you honestly think Miss "I'm so punk yet I never heard of the Sex Pistols!!" has come close to making 1/1000th the impact George made. By saying Avril is superior to the Beatles shows how young you are. You can like her music better, but to say she in her two albums in 2 years compares to the 40 year legacy George left, shows that you need to stop watching TRL and listening to Radio Disney and explore music before 2001.

I mean, if you wanna like Avril, good for you, but she has decades to go before she can even be thought of in the same breath as the legends, so bashing legendary artists in favor of Avril does not work in your favor since 99% of the posters here think Avril isn't even a blip on the radar compared to The Beatles in terms of all-time

I hate explaining myself to ******* who compare people to lameass stereotypes.

K, I actually like the Beatles and have like 9 of their CD's, but okay. I can like Avril more, believe it or not. I will have my opinions and there is nothing you can say or do to change that. KTHX. Shows how much you ****ing know me. I don't watch TRL or listen to Radio Disney, also. I only watch TV Land, I really don't care for those teeny bopper channels.

Avril isn't punk and doesn't dress punk, get out of 2002. She's changed, her musics changed. And sorry if I like her more than George Harrison. You're just going to have to go on with life and keep breathing.

well, if you don't have anything good to say about an artist, DON'T POST ON THE THREAD ABOUT THEM. Clay annoys the hell out of me, the longest running thread on this board is the "Clayniacs" thread. Why haven't I posted there to say I hate him? because it's for Clay's fans.

That is the reason why people are getting defensive over George Harrison, because this was a thread for fans.

People? Only you and AKA.

P.S. I really don't have a problem with George Harrison, I have a problem with AKA., who also insults me for liking Avril when she's not even mentioned. He's also been talking **** about me here, so... yep.

All you seem to do lately, Kristina, is whore for attention (yes, I'm using "attention whore" again, only because it's true) and **** all over threads. Take this thread, for instance.

It seems you crave attention, no matter how negative it is. You do things like post pictures of yourself getting very personal with a piece of cat ****, or post pictures of your slit wrists, or talk about how poor your personal hygiene is (i.e. how your mom paid you $20 to brush your teeth) and of course people are going to talk **** about you. That's probably what you want, anyway.

AKA, BuffySlayer, Kristina I quote the late great John Lennon when I say "Give Peace A Chance" I find no reason why people must argue. It's okay to have different opinions and we must allow each other room to express those diffrent opinions. I respect what each one of you has to say.

I voted for All Good Things Must Pass. That is an amazing post Beatles album for George, and second to Lennon's "Imagine" as the second best of the band's solo recordings.

the truth is, I actually think Avril has some very catchy songs. I think her music is decent enough, it's HER I dislike. She really came off looking musically uneducated when she blew the double-whammy that she knew who neither Sex Pistols (how can you call yourself punk and not know the band who put punk on the map? Imagine the outrage if a new hip-hop act came out and had no idea who Run-DMC were?) or David Bowie (and her being 18 at the time is no excuse, my friend Nick is only 2 years older than Avril is and I know nobody who is a bigger Bowie diehard fanatic... and he's been consistantly recording over 35 years, and continues to evolve... I find it shocking Avril has no clue who he is) were, yet she professes herself to be a rock/punk chick.

I also didn't like the way she kept bashing Britney and Christina, when the truth is, Avril isn't that much different than they are, she just uses guitars while the other 2 use computer-generated music.

I actually don't mind Avril's music at all, I think every single she's had so far has been well-crafted and are definately fun to listen to, it's just her attitude why I don't like HER.

Good god, get over the pictures. And it was dog ****, cats don't go outside. At least not ours. And the brushing teeth thing... hey, I was excited.

I don't give a **** what people think of me as long as it's all true, but when people start talking **** and making fun of me for dumbass reasons or have things wrong then I'm gonna stick up for myself. But okay...

I shouldn't have to live up to other peoples standards, I'm just being honest.
