outside of Halloween III, the rest of these movies are a decade old or less....

what is a "worst movie" list without Plan 9 From Outer Space or Heaven's Gate or Ishtar?

well, I think H3 takes the cake from having perhaps the most disturbing and gross death scene that doesn't contain any gore.

Yeah, the list is a little short sided.

Althought I agree with House Of The Dead and Rollerball. Awful movies.

Halloween III wasn't that bad, it was just different from the other Michael Meyers films. That's why people hate it so much.

And what about The Cat in the Hat? Truly a painful movie experience.

I can't think of any scene, gory or non, from a horror movie, quite as revolting as the scene where the kid gets it wearing the Silver Shamrock mask, and then both parents faint and die after seeing all the bugs coming out of his skull... that was just vile

No arguments there! As many times as I've seen Halloween III, that scene still gets to me - and I can usually handle just about anything in a horror flick.

I also agree that it really isn't such a bad movie. If they'd left it as Season of the Witch, it could've done well and people might not have hated it quite as much. Out of all the sequels, it still remains as one of my personal favorites.

I only saw it once and I didn't think it was a bad movie. The worst Halloween movie in my opinion was The Curse Of Michael Myers. It was hard to watch because you could see just how ill Donald Pleasance was when he was making the picture.

As soon as it was released on DVD, I snatched that sucker up. Yeah, I never have cared for The Curse of Michael Myers. Watching Donald Pleasance, knowing how ill he was and that he just wasn't quite the same - it wasn't easy to sit back and watch. Honestly, the only sequels I can truly say I'm a fan of are the first two. The others.. eh, seems like they only wanted to cash in on the Halloween/Michael Myers name.

didn't Donald Pleasance die not too long before the end of the shooting of Curse? I heard that is a reason the ending of the movie seems so incomplete. I didn't know he was dead when I saw the movie, but I remember thinking "the guy doesn't have much time left", and then at the end of the movie, it said "this movie is dedicated to the memory of Donald Pleasance"

The only Halloween movies I really like are 1, 2 and H20.

Yeah, he passed away in February of '95 and the movie wasn't released here in the states until September.

I heard somewhere that there was as "director's cut" of "Curse Of Michael Myers" that made much more sense than the original.

I loved that they revived the franchise with part 4, but they really messed things up with "Curse."
